Sites should have appropriate fencing in place to segregate areas for workers, visitors and the general public.
Where road or footpath diversions are necessary, barriers and fences should be implemented to avoid unnecessary risk.
As part of the re-development, concealed feet for fencing were used.
These were a considerate safety system as they used up less space and prevented any potential trip hazards.
They also looked more attractive and helped create a more positive site appearance.
