Concrete Overspill Boxes

Following comments from the London Legacy Development Corporation, the Hill, Fish Island team have worked in liaison with their concrete frame subcontractor Corbyn, to introduce ‘overspill boxes’.

This simple addition to the suppliers fleet of concrete wagons, has ensured that the overspill from the chute of discharged lorries leaving site after delivery and wash down, does not spill on the highway.

This has been an issue for the LLDC since the redevelopment of the Stratford Olympic Village and beyond, and has been causing staining and damage on their brand new roadways in the Olympic Park. The initiative and adoption of these overspill boxes, has met with the LLDC’s full approval.
