Considerate Constructors Scheme Induction Film
At induction the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) Operative Handout is given out to all in the supply chain. In order to further introduce CCS and raise awareness this contractor has written a script, filmed and edited a video titled ‘Introduction to the CCS – Help us be Considerate Constructor’.
The film is shown to the supply chain at induction and accompanies the CCS operative handout. The film covers:
- An introduction to the Considerate Constructors Scheme – How projects are monitored in order to support raising industry standards and build public trust.
- Code of Considerate Practice: Respect to the Community, Care for the Environment, Value their Workforce – With key pointers on how the supply chain can assist them in being a considerate constructor.
- At the end of the film they introduce the Best Practice Hub and e-learning modules.
The film is now shown on site at induction and will be used across the contractors projects going forward. The benefits of this initiative is to reinforce and raise awareness of CCS and its Code of Considerate Practice.
