Constructionarium

Constructionarium Ltd is a not-for-profit organisation providing a unique, innovative and ‘hands-on’ residential construction experience for students and professionals in the built environment sector. Since 2003 over 13,000 delegates have attended our bespoke learning facility to work in teams to, over six days, build one of our carefully designed projects.

Each project is a scaled down (c30ft) replica of an iconic structure (such as The Gherkin, Millau Cable Bridge, Kingsgate Footbridge, Ravenspurn OIl Platform, Brewery Wharf Footbridge, Nuclear Island, Barcelona Tower to name but a few) from around the world – which mirror the challenges and complexities of life on site and enables delegates to apply theory in a safe, practical, scaled and relevant environment.  It is an excellent learning provision for team-building, induction and awareness training for non-construction personnel.

Our unique fully residential facility is based in at Bircham Newton in Norfolk, England.

We also provide other CPD accredited training such as:

  • Setting out, surveying
  • Groundworks courses
  • NetZero webinars
  • Health and Safety courses.

There are many papers and videos that have been independently made about Constructionarium,  An example of such is shown in the links below:
