We have been trialling a cordless caulking gun at Roydon Primary School.
This is used by carpenters for their gripfill, painters for caulking, as well as all silicone tasks etc.
The benefit of the battery powered guns (as opposed to manual ones) is that they cause less strain on wrists from constant squeezing movement.
We will be promoting the use of these cordless guns to other sites for this reason.
Operatives who use manual guns all day every day will see the benefit to fatigue of the wrists.
