Coronavirus Pictorial Control Measure Board

Avondale Construction Ltd have taken steps to protect their workforce in light of the coronavirus pandemic, by introducing a coronavirus pictorial control measure board at their Arundel Great Court project.

The board displays explanations and pictures of the control measures that have been implemented on site.

With a large majority of the workforce not having English as their first language, the use of pictures allows information to be translated in order to create a better understanding of what the expectations are on site.

This example of best practice is just one way that projects can work to tackle the virus and reduce the spread. For full guidance and the latest Government advice read the Construction Leadership Council’s Site Operating Procedures.
