Cultural Diversity

To support an ever growing cultural diversity amongst our workforce, we have adopted simple provisions to make sure everybody feels welcome and are able to make a positive contribution to the project.

Our site is not the biggest, but we have been able to accommodate a prayer room in one of the smaller offices and at selected times of the day, make a private area available.

We have produced our induction in several languages to make sure that inductees feel fully welcomed on arrival to our site and endeavour to have someone present who is able to provide linguistic support in their own language.

We have also printed out signage in different languages and have translated the information in our signs and posters to the most common languages other than English to ensure all members of the workforce feel included.

We feel that by doing these simple activities we have gained the respect of those from different ethic background and provided a way to empower them which will ultimately lead to improved performance.
