Dangerous Dave

“Do you know a dangerous Dave? Please keep him safe.”

This is the tagline we use for our safety man that is positioned at the pedestrian entrance of our construction site where everyone signs in each morning.

Dave is dressed head to toe in the typical type of PPE you would expect to see on any building site. Steel toecap boots, hi-viz vest, harness and hardhat etc.

This gives us an opportunity to highlight to everyone amongst other things that they need to remember to carry out harness checks every week, check what type of goggles they should be wearing to comply with current regulations, face fit testing for masks and many more things.

We find it a great visual tool so that everyone can look at the types of PPE required and keep safety at the forefront of their mind as Dave is the first thing they see every morning.
