Datascope Online Permits
Due to the size and scale of this project, they wanted to make the permit system more efficient and sustainable.
The contractor worked alongside Datascope to create an online permit system that allows easy upload of photographic supporting evidence that shows the area pre works, the team carrying out the works including the supervisor and operative, if the area has been cleared of all combustible materials and periodical thermal images taken throughout the activities.
The system allows real time audit and interrogation of compliance with the hot works procedure identifying any areas of improvement which also helps focus the individuals involved to continually improve the safety of their working systems. The benefit from doing it this way is the learning from doing the process and the improvements made to any high risk activities.
