Dedicated sign at depot for nearest hospital

We recently undertook a week long project focusing on different element of the CCS Code of Considerate Practice each day, asking our staff for new ideas.

Following a review of how we communicate locations of nearest 24 hour hospital A&E departments, one of our staff suggested erecting a dedicated permanent sign at the entrance/ exit to our motorway compound areas informing staff, visitors and suppliers where the nearest A&E department is located, with key location information including postcode and telephone details.

So responding to that, we have now turned this employee led idea into a reality, using white text on a green background and have now erected our first such sign at one of our depots.

This brings the benefits of a closed site compound to our depot based work.
