Demonstrating commitment to the Scheme

Efforts should be made to communicate your commitment to promoting the positive image of the construction industry, not only to your employees but also to the general public.

Below is an example of how a site used water bottles to highlight Scheme registration:

  • A CCS metal water bottle was developed with the CCS logo and the five point code inscribed on one side and the company logo and name label on the back;
  • The bottles were handed out to operatives and visitors, along with stay hydrated instructions and symptoms of dehydration, and were intended for use with the water coolers provided.

The bottles not only promoted the sites commitment to CCS but also encouraged healthy living while reducing the sites carbon footprint.
