Mick George Ltd are committed to road safety and have invested a lot of time and money into their Road Safety programme.

Recently we have started to deliver demonstrations at schools and events across the region.

On June 12th, at Thorpe Primary School fete in Peterborough, Mick George Ltd supplied one of their LGV vehicles and members of their transport team provided demonstrations to school children, raising awareness of driver blind spots and the dangers of cyclists getting too close to LGV vehicles.

The team also demonstrated the safety features fitted on the vehicle, and allowed the children to sit in the cab and get an idea of what the driver sees.

Road safety is of paramount importance at Mick George Ltd as we have one of the largest vehicle fleets in the region, accessing construction sites in the area, and it is important to us that our drivers drive safely and considerately at all times.

We also recognise the importance of spreading awareness among the public about the risks associated with LGV vehicles, in order to minimise the effects of our vehicles on the communities in which we operate.
