Distribution of bike lights

Work on site should be carried out with a minimum impact on local residents and businesses.

The site found that the cycle route to a nearby high school ran alongside the construction site.

To ensure the safety of cyclists, traffic wardens were situated at busy access roads to monitor the flow of site traffic and delivery vehicles.

On top of this, LED bicycle lights were distributed to the students at the start of the project to make the cyclists more easily visible to drivers.

The remaining lights were distributed for free to other cyclists without lights.
