DKMS Swab Event
This contractor held a DKMS swab event for their project. DKMS is an international charity dedicated to the fight against blood cancer and blood disorders.
The more people who sign up to support the charity increases the chance that those needing a blood donor can find one, as currently only 30% of patients are able to find a compatible donor in their family.
Every 20 minutes, someone in the UK is diagnosed with blood cancer
The swab event included contractor staff and the workforce, they also opened the swab event to local communities.
