With London being the latest UK city to trial e-scooters as an easier, more environmentally friendly way to travel to work, they have facilitated a charging station for operatives who partake in the government trial.
The commuting risks of coronavirus brought the trials forward mainly because these offer people a way of getting around whilst still adhering to the social distancing guidelines. The London trials use technology to create “go-slow areas” where the top speed has been reduced to 8mph (13km/h) for safety purposes.
This contractor spotted the need to help the trial forward by putting together a charging station for the e-scooters. The initiative has been very well received by the two operatives engaged in the trial so far.
