Donation of Bird Table

Henry Brother’s Group Environmental and Quality Officer visited Langley Mill Primary School and delivered a presentation to the year two class, highlighting environmental issues at a local and national level.

Topics such as recycling, climate change and environmental careers were covered.

After highlighting a variety of topics to the students, a bird table and a tree were donated to the school. The bird table currently sits outside of year two’s classroom so pupils are able to have a good view of the local birds in their area visiting their school.

The tree has been planted within the school garden and in years to come the tree will give the local birds an opportunity to take sanctuary within the school yard.
