Drapes warning of live electrics work

Dangerous areas on site should be clearly marked to prevent accident or injury caused by someone being unprepared.

See the examples below for how one site addressed this:

  • Lightweight curtains/ drapes have been installed at the entrance to all internal areas with live electrics.
  • The drapes are printed with a clear warning and hang below head height so they cannot be missed.
  • This system clearly alerts anyone entering the area that dangerous works are being carried out.

This simple initiative helps secure everyone’s safety while walking around the site.
