Drone façade survey

The site team used a remote drone (RPAS) for a façade survey to assess its current condition. This allowed us to price the restoration works without needing to erect a scaffold at the early stages of the project.

This gave us a HD visual of the façade/ roof/ external of the building and allowed the contractor to put together a detail spreadsheet referencing times in the video that link to a cost associated with the restoration works.

This aimed to reduce nuisance from scaffold erection (conventional method) which could cause a disruption to the community, this also targeted safety by eliminating the need to work at height.
