Drone Site Walk to Assist Considerate Constructors Scheme Monitor Visits

In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, the Considerate Constructors Scheme announced they would be monitoring sites through a video chat meeting if possible.

To aid monitors, the project team have organised a drone visit to do a ‘virtual’ walkthrough of site including all site welfare facilities.

This will help the monitor to get more of a feel of site and what measures are being put in place to improve the image of construction.

This example of best practice is just one way that projects can work to tackle the virus and reduce the spread. For full guidance and the latest Government advice read the Construction Leadership Council’s Site Operating Procedures.
