Drugs and alcohol policy

A proactive approach to managing drugs and alcohol on site is important.

Operatives need to be of a fit state of mind and have sound judgement to ensure their own safety and the safety of others around them.

Many sites have implemented a Drugs and Alcohol policy to ensure all operatives on site are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs and therefore are fit to work.

Posters can also be put up around site that state the main points of the policy to confirm operatives are aware of what is expected of them.

Shaylor Group have implemented their own drugs and alcohol policy to address this safety issue.
