Site Induction: The HSE&Q Big Picture

The Durkan box top induction uses the notion that the site induction is similar to a jigsaw puzzle in that we have to look at the big picture on the box to see what it is we really want to achieve.

The box top gives us a clearer picture of what we are trying to create and generates the overarching vision for the project which lets us decide which parts of the puzzle belong and which parts of the puzzle are not needed to complete the induction picture.

We look to create the ‘wow’ factor with the induction and get supervisors and workers to see that excellent health and safety is not about policy and procedures it’s about excellent behaviours and leadership.
