Dust Trap for Drilling into Ceilings
The site team are utilising a simple but very effective dust catching device for drilling into ceilings. It is recognised that vacuum collection is common place but not always done.
The ‘Milwaukee Dust Trap’ is a drilling shroud that catches the dust and stops it getting in the air. As the tools can be bought for £20, they can be issued to every ‘driller’ and they fold up small enough to keep in the toolbox.
An option to connect a vacuum is also available but not necessary for small jobs.
