Ecosia Search Engine
Ecosia has been installed into the site management’s laptops and is used as the site’s default internet search engine. The website is still very low key, however over the past number of months it has slowly become present in mainstream media.
The premise of the website is that it works just like Google, but for every search that a user makes the website uses the ad revenue it receives to plant a tree.
Recently Ecosia have reached 16,000,000 trees planted through searches on their website. By introducing the website into the work environment, we can help Ecosia reach their goal of planting 1 billion trees by 2020.
