Educational Learning Partnership to Support Disadvantaged Students

This project has been proactively engaged in a partnership to support research into learners from disadvantaged backgrounds.

PiXL – the UK’s largest education leadership network identified three North Belfast schools in areas of highest disadvantage and approached speakers and the project to support their research.

The site team created a bespoke construction competition which was run in each of the 3 identified North Belfast schools, alongside a careers talk.

The activities were then followed up by a site visit for the winning group from each team, with 100 individuals participating to date.
