Employability Session for Local Construction Skills Work Academy Group
This contractors Community Benefits Advisors hosted a Teams information session for local DWP construction work academy participants.
The session was arranged via DWP Inverness and involved 3 people from Moray who are currently looking for opportunities within construction.
The contractor provided an overview of current works and discussed subcontractors on sites which may have future work placement opportunities.
After an initial 1 hour informational Q&A, the contractor supported mock interviews for each participant and provided feedback to each participant. CV’s from participants have also been shared with local supply chains to assist group source local employment.
