Encouraging cycle safety at BCL – Woodside Academy, Grays, Essex

We provide communal bikes for our projects so that site personnel can use them to visit local shops and cafes.

The use of bicycles has the benefits of being environmentally friendly by producing zero CO2, encouraging students to cycle to school and allows individuals to burn more calories after consuming a big English breakfast!

Also in partnership with our contractors we arrange HGV awareness days on our sites to educate students and especially cycle clubs, about the blind spots for large and potentially dangerous vehicles.
