Enterprise Day for Small Local Businesses

This contractor hosted a health and wellbeing event for colleagues at the site inviting local businesses and practitioners to sell their goods and services.

The event was attended by a variety of traders and staff at the site were also able to take advantage of a local reflexologist and masseuse. The idea behind then event was to raise economic aspirations of the local community whilst giving staff the opportunity to relax and unwind for a few minutes during work hours.

There are not many health and wellbeing opportunities like this close to the site so having this on site was a real benefit to the staff.

Initiative like this allow projects to actively support local communities by buying their products or services as well as allowing the community to participate in the project by providing their service to the project, demonstrating good community partnership engagement.
