Environmental Board Game

In conjunction with the E&S Manager the site has pioneered the development and use of “The Green Mile”.

This is a board game derived and up-cycled from a charity shop game. People work in teams (max. 12 players per game) to follow a path across the board, answering questions or taking Penalty/ Reward cards as they go.

The game is hosted by one of the Environmental team to facilitate discussion and explain answers as needed. Players have commented that the game is “enjoyable”, “informative” and that they “learned a lot”.

People also felt more confident in trying to answer questions as a team, rather than being singled out on a training course.
