Environmental Sustainability Noticeboard

The site team have displayed a visual environmental community board to provide knowledge and awareness to the community and workforce on how long different materials take to biodegrade, with an aim to help protect and improve the local environment.

This includes materials such as paper, cardboard, orange peel, chewing gum, plastic wrappers, cigarette buts, plastic bags, wet wipes, cans and nappies. The hope is that people choose to use alternative materials and think about how their waste is disposed of.

This is a visual educational tool to target the community and workforce on the materials they are using and educate on ‘how long until its gone’ to raise awareness of their own carbon footprint.

This is a great way to increase awareness and knowledge on the materials they are using on a day to day basis, with an aim to protect the climate and move more towards sustainable materials.
