Environmentally friendly garden

We have made a garden at our Carnarvon Road, Essex development which includes a bee and bug hotel, ladybird hotel, bird bath and bird feeder.

We are using harvested rainwater to water the plants and have also recycled pallets to become planters that have been attached to the crowd barriers which are placed by the pedestrian walkway.

We have also used recycled hard hats as hanging baskets and they have been placed on the hoarding around the site.

This has gone down very well with the neighbours; the Council’s offices are situated next door and they like it so much they have entered us into a gardening competition!
