Falling Objects Scenarios Video

Although all measures are taken to prevent dropped and falling objects on site, human error can still occur when working at height and perimeter edges.

On this project they have worked with Multivista to develop a scenarios video with regards to falling objects.

The video takes 3 scenarios, played by individuals who work on our site, these scenarios are:

  1. A person falling from not clipping on correctly
  2. How poor housekeeping can cause an issue
  3. How not tethering and not paying full attention can cause dropped objects.

The video scenarios highlight bad practices that contribute to errors in these circumstances and show good practices to highlight how they should be done.

With very little sound and no speaking the videos create impact, allow for language barriers across the site and encourage people to think how their actions can cause accidents.

The video is now used across projects with inductions, working from height training and WAPE training sessions.
