Female Comfort Boxes

After recently carrying out some research into female site welfare standards, one suggestion was to provide ‘comfort boxes’ in the female toilets.

Alongside enhancing their minimum standards for toilet facilities following feedback from their employees and visiting clients, they also teamed up with Grace and Green who provide sustainable sanitary solutions that are not only plastic free, but organic and free from animal testing.

Given that periods affect up to 50% of the population, providing support for female employees is a simple yet effective thing to do, especially given that period poverty in the UK currently affects 1 in 10 women and girls.
