Fire Protection in Construction Training

By combining their commitment to improve standards and embed industry best practice, this contractor has various learning modules designed to provide staff with an insight into some of the key considerations when managing the selection and installation of passive fire protection. These learning modules are stored on the company’s Sharepoint which everyone in the organisation has access to.

The videos are detailed but short and pack information into an easily digestible bit with a clear and concise message focused on a specific purpose. They are easy to watch, able to be shared, liked and commented on. Video created correctly can be a powerful medium that conveys relevant and engaging information.

Sharepoint contains e-learning material guides, resource packs, checklists and presentations on the subject of fire prevention safety.

The contractor has a Fire officer who looks at each project during the delivery period. The Fire Officer visits each site and risk assesses the project and advises how to incorporate fire protection strategies during the delivery.
