Fire Safety and Tool Charging Lockable Storage

This contractor has installed the Armorgard Volt Hub, which is a portable and lockable charging unit that has individual compartments to allow battery charging anywhere on site.

Each individual compartment has a lithex suppressant in case of a lithium battery fire and if a fire is detected it will extinguish the fire without impacting any other charging compartments. This can be setup anywhere on site and linked to the site fire alarm to notify management if it is activated.

Given recent issues with lithium battery fires and the need for specific methods of extinguishing the fire, the volt hub offers an all encompassing approach to not only charging tools, but safely detecting any issues with the batteries. Lithium batteries give off toxic gases so this is all taken care of in the volt hub. It is also weather resistant so can be setup outside without detriment. Individual lockable compartments can be assigned to site operatives to reduce any chance of batteries being taken or misplaced.
