First Aid for Workers’ Families

We undertook a quick summary during a staff meeting with the workforce on the level of First Aid training the workforce had undertaken and were taken aback by how many were already First Aid trained or were booked on a course, but that their family members were not.

There was a high percentage of workforce family members that were not only not First Aid trained, but were in situations that required such training the most, such as new mothers, expecting mothers and carers for other family members.

The site team therefore produced a poster offering the first 14 names signed up free First Aid training from an approved accredited training provider.
