First Aiders Workshop

The aim of the first aid workshops organised at Multiplex’s 73-89 Oxford Street project is to provide interactive refreshers to the first aiders by focusing on one type of injury per month.

Initially, all the accredited first aiders working at the project were identified and asked if they were interested in attending the practical workshop.

The idea was welcomed with enthusiasm and monthly first aid workshops were set up.

A mock incident is decided on every workshop.

The project nurse would discuss the injury first (how to identify and how to administer first aid) and afterwards each of the first aiders are given a chance to practice on each other, share their experiences and ask questions.
