Fixing for Staircase Balustrade
The project team used innovative design and worked collaboratively with key members of the supply chain when considering how to install the permanent handrail at the same time of the precast stairs and landings into the 12 storey concrete cores.
Through the careful planning and management of the design, the solution reduced health and safety risks and whilst providing a substantial benefit to the construction programme

- Overall reduction in health and safety risks, particularly related to reduction in temporary works, manual handling and avoiding the need to work with in-situ concrete. Also fully avoiding any switch over from temp to permanent handrails solution later in the works.
