Inspiring the Next Generation: Foundations Live!

Foundations Live is an annual event which celebrates and centralises all the best bits of the year-long Foundations scheme. It brings the industry together to create two events under one roof:

  • A professional business networking and trade event. An opportunity to meet new people, learn about the latest products and innovations and generate new business.
  • An interactive careers event for people of all ages. From primary schools through to adults re-training. Schools, colleges and training providers from across the region meet at Foundations Live to learn what the industry has to offer and how it will face the challenge of an ever-present skills shortage.

The annual event is the result of the collaborative and ongoing working relationship between Hobson & Porter, Jewson, Jewson Partnership Solutions and Bishop Burton College.

This event is partnered by the CITB, who provide information about grants and fundraising to support the industry in developing the workforce – including apprenticeships.

This event took place on 16 October in 2025.
