It is always a pleasure to support the communities where we undertake construction projects and last week, we were delighted to officially re-site an important monument in Edenbridge, Kent.
The site was formally home to a stone sundial, originally gifted to the town back in 1991 by its twin town of Mont-Saint-Aignan in North West France.
To preserve the significance of the towns’ long-established relationship and the importance of their cultural connection, our teams restored the monument to its former glory and on the 24th June 2019 officially re-located it to its new home in prime position on the Mont-Saint-Aignan Way junction.
The chair of the Twinning Association, commented on “the strength of the twinning relationship between Edenbridge and Mont-Saint-Aignan and the huge part this plays in bringing communities together from different cultural backgrounds as well as the many opportunities for exchange and shared knowledge”.
