Giving Gifts at Christmas

Building contractor Speller Metcalfe has joined forces with charity Property for Kids to donate presents to disadvantaged children this Christmas.

Fast becoming a seasonal tradition, this is the fifth year that the charity and construction firm have come together, donating over 100 presents from clients and partners at their annual Christmas drinks event in Birmingham last week.

All the presents have been collected by Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid, who support women and children affected by domestic violence and abuse, who otherwise may not receive a present this Christmas.

“We have continued with this tradition because we know that these gifts will make a real difference to children around Birmingham and Solihull over the festive period,” said James Speller, Pre-Construction Director at Speller Metcalfe.

“We want to thank all of those who brought a gift or gave a donation, our attendees have always been overwhelmingly generous and this year has been no different.”
