Glassboy Floor Crane

The specialist facade contractor are now in the remedial stage of construction, all elements and balconies have been installed, and now they are making repairs.

Some of the glass has to be replaced, this can be a challenging task to carry out as the panels are extremely heavy.

The contractor have decided to use a ‘Glassboy’ floor crane which connects to the ‘Vacuum lifter’ in order to assist with the glass replacement.

This eliminates the need for manual handling, as the machines take on all the work, and only required to be operated by a competent, trained operative.

This also gives a cost savings as it reduce the amount of labour needed for a glass change.
