In order to create a consistent base standard across our projects, and to continually improve our CCS performance, we have created a web based resource called Goodsite.

This internal web portal enables evidence against each element of the Code of Considerate Practice to be uploaded to the site and logged directly against each project.

This brings dual benefits for the business.

Firstly, when being audited, it enables all the evidence of our operations in line with CCS to be filtered specifically for that project to appear on screen. This makes it simple for the project team to answer all of the Monitor’s questions on each area of the Code.

Secondly, it also acts as an internal best practice and inspiration hub – when a new project begins, one of the first considerations is working towards being a considerate constructor.

Goodsite enables sites to use its built in filters and tags to search for ideas under each element of the Code.

The site can also act as a check list, identifying performance gaps against which the project needs to commit to.
