Grow It Yourself

GROWCircle is run by Grow it Yourself (GIY), an Irish social enterprise that supports people around the world to live healthier, happier and more sustainable lives by growing some of their own food. Their mission is to educate and enable a global movement of food growers whose collective actions will help to rebuild a sustainable food system.

This contractor has encouraged their site members to sign up to the initiative with 10 operatives signing up so far. The programme consists of three key initiatives:

1. A food growing starter kit for hands-on participation, enabling employees to get a deep understanding of sustainable food production.
2. Premium access to the GIY app, with hundreds of  pieces of content helping them grow, cook and eat more healthily and sustainably, and engage in some friendly competition with the team.
3. Access to the GIY “Food Sustainability 101” webinars, where GIY host discussions with leading experts surrounding health, food, sustainability, and environmental matters

Users do not need previous experience of growing food, or a big garden to sign up.

So far, 10 site members have signed up to the initiative
