Happy Feet Govan

This contractor assisted and funded the setting up of Happy Feet in the Govan Area for people over 55 or vulnerable patients with health issues such as diabetes etc as this was raised as a health issue in the local community which was falling between the cracks under the NHS due to funding cut backs.

This is a foot care and maintenance service that now runs every Monday from 11am-2pm where each patient is provided with a foot care pack.

This is run by volunteers who have completed an NHS GGC Podiatry Awareness raising sessions which the contractor also supported.

Since the launch, there have been 40 patrons who have used the service so far.
