Hartland Onsite Charity

On this project they have dedicated an onsite facility to provide platform for increasing capacity of the charity ‘Men in Sheds’.

It is seen as an great way to have a registered charity onsite (The first registered onsite charity in the UK) and provide a leading aspect of ‘Engagement with Local Stakeholder’.

The charity brings upon support of Mental Health and Wellbeing to ‘Men in Sheds’ in collaboration with the supply chain of the project who donate material and tools to create projects that can be sold onsite or to the wider community to raised money for the chartity’.

This also benefits the project’s waste management with a higher use of material donation leading to less diversion of waste offsite.
