Maintaining a healthy workforce should be made a priority.

It is vital that operatives should feel supported and that their work is not negatively impacting their health.

A number of sites either organise for nurses to regularly visit site or have a nurse on site to address any health issues or concerns held by operatives.

One site has exceeded these provisions by utilising a free app that is available on Apple devices called ‘South West Man’, this is an extension of the Haynes health and wellbeing paper based manuals.

This app is downloadable and contains all the same information as the paper based manual, together with the complementary twitter feed that is managed in association with the NHS, this is the most comprehensive general health and wellbeing support system for men currently in the UK.

Not available on Android as far as I can see. Please confirm otherwise or correct the above. It would be appreciated if an alternative for both platforms could be listed instead.
