Helping the community to beat homelessness and reduce waste

We as a company have always been looking for ways to help our community and at the same time tried to reduce waste by trying to recycle as much as possible. I am delighted to announce that we have managed to find a solution that would help us to do both and will result in this amazing opportunity to help homeless people.

We have started to work in partnership with Emmaus, a homeless charity that is helping vulnerable people to get back on their feet by providing them with a home and an opportunity to work to regain lost self-esteem and their confidence.

Emmaus is not about giving hand-outs, it’s about providing people with the tools to help themselves. This approach has been proven to produce long-term, sustainable results.

For the many people who have been stuck in a cycle of homelessness, Emmaus provides the space and support they need to take stock of their lives and make positive changes for the future.

We will be donating to Emmaus unwanted kitchen appliances, bathroom ensuites, fire places, door handles and anything that still has plenty of life left in it and would otherwise end up in landfill.

A number of our clients have taken the advantage of Emmaus collection service and donated their personal unwanted items to this amazing charity at the same time.
