Helping Foreign Drivers

The diverse requirements of your workforce need to be carefully considered.

Due to the multicultural society we live in, care and consideration should be given to the needs of a diverse workforce.

Constructors should devise methods that best ensure all members of the workforce are included and valued, whilst also establishing that everyone understands the safety risks posed on site and the protocols implemented.

A number of sites have developed methods to include all members of the workforce, such as:

  • Directions to the site were made available in several languages;
  • These were used to warn of the care needed when approaching access roads to site;
  • The directions were implemented to aid foreign drivers and help them to find the site without difficulty.
