Helping to End Child Poverty

The company’s directors became very concerned at the recent news that free school meals were not available over the half term. Alongside their site management and subcontractor they jumped into action to support both schools and food banks for families in need over half term.

The company realised how this industry involved in major developments across the UK and employ thousands of personal and trade workers on their site could be a future way of supporting this area by creating food collection areas on sites where workers can drop one or two items into the box of non perishable food.

The company will continue working on this for the foreseeable and help where they can from their sites.

The campaign started on Monday 26 October when their sites worked hard to ensure that speaking with their local councils, community leaders, heads of schools and subcontractors by Tuesday 27th they had organised their first delivery of lunches to schools and dropped of boxes of food to local food banks, in the the boroughs they are working which included Camden, Lewisham, Haringey, Battersea.
