With coronavirus changing the way many people work we needed to be able to allow people working remotely the ability to have visibility of site progress.

We are using a 360 camera that captures progress at designated points across the site on a weekly basis. The images are uploaded on to a web site where the whole site team can view the information.

This has allowed our commercial team to complete valuations remotely, our planning team to plot progress and record historical information of site progress.

The use of the Holo Builder camera and software has been used by the whole project team and is proving to be a very useful technology.

This example of best practice is just one way that projects can work to tackle the virus and reduce the spread. For full guidance and the latest Government advice read the Construction Leadership Council’s Site Operating Procedures.
